OMG! It's been a few weeks since I've posted up in here, well, I haven't forgot about it! We've just been really busy at the shop, and the race team is off the hook this year! The RACING GREYHOUNDS have expanded out to a team of 54 members, with riders doing mountain bike races, road races, and triathlons. Within mountain biking, we even have a dedicated team of individuals doing some endurance races as well. This weekend is the big one thou.....

Check this beauty out! I know you can't ready the scale that well, but this KHS XC-Team bike came in all ready to race at a scant 24 pounds and 14 ounces! That is really light for a full suspension bike in case you were wondering.

OMG! Have you ever seen a RockShox Totem in person? This fork is absolutely amazing! If you've needed a 7" travel single crown fork. . .ROCKSHOX has answered your prayers! Check out this pic for scale. The fork next to the Totem is Rockshox's entry level XC fork, the Dart 2.

OMG. This weather is unreal. Sunday it was 50 degrees outside (yes,it was rainy and windy, but kinda warm nonetheless) and today it was 12 when I got up. WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END?!
Well, March 1st, I'm done. I'm riding no matter what. It may suck, it might be awesome, but the days sure are getting a little longer, and I (like you probably) am itching to ride!
So, 2 more weeks to go until bike season officially .....

Tonight, just like every other Tuesday, get ready to ride at 7pm. I know, I know it sucks outside, but to be honest, it is almost Zen-like riding outside right now.
#1-There are almost no other bikers out, so the bike lane on Hines is all yours!
#2-There is something fun about riding in the dark at 25 miles an hour
#3-When you are done, you feel like you've really done something with your evening.
When you decide to finally come out at night and ride with us .....

Well, it was this morning. It was cold out, but all in all, a great ride. If you haven't done a Beat the Train ride before, you should definetly check it out. It is a nice laid back ride through the city of Detroit, and a great opportunity to get some miles in before the day starts. You just have to wait until April to do it though :)

Wow! Thanks everyone for showing up! Our clinics this year have been out of hand! We have had some incredible turnouts so far, and we look forward to helping you choose the right gear for your needs. Stay tuned as our next clinic is going to be on November 1st, all about winter riding.

Just a quick reminder. . .
We will NOT be riding tomorrow, September 30th. Heck, we won't even be open! After being closed tomorrow though, we will resume our normal business hours and be open again for business on Monday.

7:00pm, this Thursday, 9/20, be sure to come to our shop for our Light/Nightriding clinic! We will have lots of sweet lights on display from the top light manufactures. We will also have a demo course set up outside, so bring your bike and a helmet to demo some killer lights!
As always, we will have free pizza, pop, and beer for all who attend. We will also be raffling off a Sigma Evo X 10 watt light system valued at 120 to one lucky winner.
