With 27-millimeter-wide LaserDisc Trail 29'er rims, 32 WTB double-butted spokes and LaserDisc Lite hubs, the 2009 LaserDisc Trail 29'er wheel is light enough for the racecourse yet strong enough for aggressive trail riding.

  • 27mm wide disc-specific I-beam rim
  • 6-bolt disc hub
  • All WTB wheels come with a skewer except 15mm and 20mm front and singlespeed rear
  • LaserDisc Lite rear hub has machined shell; 6-pawl, 24-tooth freehub; stainless steel cartridge bearings and alloy axle
  • SingleDuty rear hub has stainless steel cartridge bearings, Shimano splines and includes a 16-tooth cog
  • International Bead Seat (IBS) - 2 raised bumps on the interior of the rim that keep the tire bead from being pulled away from the hook during heavy lateral loading
  • I-beam - a vertical beam designed to counter spoke loads and provide torsional rigidity
  • Unbendium Bulge - a band of material added to the sidewall of the rim to counter torsional, radial and lateral flex
